Bizza Info
Bizza is a system designed to reduce client frustration when we cannot service a lead, by passing the lead to an independent operator. They money raised will be used, in part, to promote Bizza and thus steer work back to Franchisees who need it.
A long-term aim is to avoid the danger posed by aggregator sites, which in the future could give customers a different way of choosing quality operators and thus rob our people of work. By setting up a site focused on quality rather than price, we aim to strengthen our hold on the top end of the market and especially on the young, who increasingly choose aggregators.
How does it work for Jim’s leads?
Franchisees get absolute priority for all leads coming into Jim’s, including Franchisees from other Regions and even other divisions. If no Franchisee is available the client will be automatically sent to Bizza .
How does it work for leads to Bizza ?
If a customer goes to Bizza directly, they will see up to four contractors displayed. Jim’s Franchisees looking for work are displayed, and then any spaces left over may be bid for by independents. It is possible that in the future, Franchisees with a poor star rating may not be displayed when better-rated independents are available. But Franchisees who rate poorly are unlikely to be chosen anyway.
Better-rated Franchisees will be given priority and listed first.
Will Bizza honour FSE territory rights?
No. Territory rights are based on Jim’s Group advertising, and Bizza is a separate company to be funded by our competitors. Respecting territory rights would hurt Bizza by taking away customer choice, which would allow a competing aggregator to destroy it in the marketplace and reduce our leads.
How are the leads paid for?
Independents chosen by the customer will get the first three leads free and then pay a minimum of $15 per lead. More for high value leads, and more still if more than four contractors are looking for work and they need to bid. Franchisees will simply pay their standard lead fee to their Franchisor.
How many contractors can a customer choose?
Only one at a time. Unlike rival sites such as Hi-Pages, our aim is to focus on clients who want quality service rather than a cheap price. A customer may choose a second contractor only after rating the first one, for example if they fail to phone back or turn up. Customers who book multiple contractors will eventually be recognized by the system, giving quality contractors the option not to be displayed to them.
Can Franchisees register for Bizza ?
Franchisees are automatically registered for Bizza , though they will in the future be offered the option to withdraw via Jim’s Online. Franchisees will not be able to register as independents if their phone number or Email is recognized by the system. In any case, there would be little point to this since the cost of the lead, after the first three, will be at least that of a lead fee. Plus they will lose the benefits of a Jim’s listing including our million dollar work guarantee and past ratings from clients.
Franchisees with a separate non-Jim’s business may register it with Bizza , provided it is in a separate division. For example, a mowing Franchisee with an independent cleaning business may register the cleaning business.
How good will Bizza leads be?
On-line leads are currently less likely to convert than phoned leads. Industry trends suggest that a lead booked after checking out star ratings and references is more likely to convert.
What is a Price Metric?
The price metric appears on your Bizza profile to guide clients on how often your quotes have been knocked back since February, when we started giving customers the option. It is an estimate rather than an exact figure, since we do not know exactly how often clients reject quotes based on price.
How can I improve my chances of being chosen?
Guard your star rating. If a poor rating comes in, try to satisfy the client and (if successful) send them another survey through Jim’s Online. Being knocked back on price will affect your ‘price’ metric, but combined with a good star rating this may be no bad thing. It will put off customers who simply want a cheap quote, but not those who are happy to pay more for good service.
A picture should greatly improve your prospects. Most Franchisees currently are simply displayed as a logo. You can lodge your picture at…
Unserviced leads lists help to sell franchises. Will Bizza remove this benefit?
Franchisors will be able to show leads sent to Bizza , which has exactly the same effect. These are jobs the prospect would get if they joined. In addition, Franchisors will be sent contact details for contractors who take their unserviced leads, with the potential to convert the best ones into Franchisees.
Can Franchisees rate customers?
Not yet, but it will happen. This will allow top Franchisees and contractors to avoid being seen by customers who are difficult or who ask for multiple quotes.
How can Franchisors avoid leads being sent to Bizza ?
By signing more Franchisees, encouraging existing Franchisees to take more jobs, and by recruiting Bizza contractors into our system.
